This article describes basic component settings accessible through site administration.

To change basic component settings, click on Parameters component button (admin menu, components, IPCams, Parameters).

IMAGES UPLOAD FOLDER

Images upload folder
This is the folder where your IPCam upload the images at regular time interval using FTP protocol. The folder is relative to the site root. For example, if the site is  www.mysite.com  and the folder is in www.mysite.com/folder1/folder2, you have to write folder1/folder2 (without start and end '/' char).

id(IPCAMname)
In this field you have to write the IPCam alphanumeric ID and, between round brackets, the name that you have assigned to the IPCam when it was installed. (You can read more info in installation and use instructions of the component).

BORDERS SETTING

Here are settings for border designed around the IPCam image. There are different settings for each border side, for border background color and the text designed on border. Details follow.

Top border height
It's the most important side border of the image. There, are written the date and time of the snapsot and the IPCam description. Top border height have to be set in pixels.

Bottom, right and left borders
Bottom, right and left borders are not used for any text output but makes part only of the layout. Here are settings for bottom height, right width and left width of the border. All values must be set in pixels.

Borders color
It's the color of all border sides around the image. Color must be in exadecimal format; for example #000000 for black color or #FFFFFF for white color. Short formats as #FFF or RGB format cannot be used.

Font color
This is the color to be used for text on upper image border. If not set in other following parameters, this color will be used for all other texts too. Color must be in exadecimal format as explained in previous paragraph (Borders color).
